This is my AI Journal Project. I’m documenting it here. This is really just a fun little project I work on from time to time as a way to explore myself through conversations with AI. I feel like talking to AI is great for this task, but regular AI is not private and may not provide enough privacy. Because of this my project uses Local AI Models found largely on https://huggingface.co/.

Intended Usage Loop

So I’m not a great designer of anything. Given that fact, I was able to come up with this usage pattern/loop. It’s pretty simple, don’t worry about the Obsidian stuff yet. We will get to that.

Do cool stuff!

Now that you have all the Markdown files for Obsidan, just slap those in to a fresh Vault! You can read your very own AI generated journal! It’s interesting to reflect on what the AI thought about what I said and provides another view, that I often don’t see for myself.

Open Graph View in Obsidan will link all journal entries with the specified categories in the nightly processing prompt. I’m still working on this prompt but here is one sample how I hope it can be used with Open Graph View.
